 Shivani and Vid were such an amazing team for my Indian-Chilean fusion wedding in Austin, TX. I started planning my wedding a year prior and was so lost. Every vendor in the industry tells you “if you’re not doing such-and-such by this month, you’re late,” and it makes you feel insecure as a bride. Shivani never said that once to me. She met with me on a weekly basis to plan and break down tasks for both me and my fiancé. She thought of everything we needed, from a shuttle service for off-site events, to making sure our vendors had no last minute asks or hidden costs. Closer to the wedding she was available daily and I could not be more thankful, as it takes no time for my parents to unravel months of planning with their own lavish ideas (lol).

Vid’s prior experience in AV and MCing was perfect for the day of. We had an audio vendor, DJ, MC and projection mapping company as separate vendors. He did everything from giving our DJ and MC direction make our dance floor lively all night and even directing the resort kitchen staff to coordinate serving with the music of the DJ. His attention to the energy and detail of our wedding was extraordinary. 

Our wedding was 4 events total over 3 days. Not a single thing went wrong during this time. Shivani and Vid are at the intersection of refined excellence and good vibes! As a team, they understood the assignment. As a couple, we were able to truly enjoy the weekend, gathering with all the people who mean so much to us. Our parents and guests were so happy, they still talk about how our wedding was the best they ever went to!

Our wedding was one of the most special moments in our lives….and every time we look back at it, we are reminded of how grateful we are to Shivani and Vid for pouring their hearts into making our dream come true. We first met Shivani and Vid when they were working for a different event planning company that was helping us plan our multi-day wedding. Shivani meticulously organized our schedule, from where our families would be, to creating detailed lists of our wardrobe and jewelry, to making sure we had food and water on the big day. She never left our side, kept things running on time, and diplomatically handled our friends and family alike—we’ve never seen someone with such incredible attention to detail. Vid’s charm, energy, and charisma kept the day light and fun; he was really our “secret sauce” and hype guy at our reception. His focus in the months leading up to the wedding, gently keeping us on task and stepping in when things became overwhelming ensured that we got everything done. By the end of that weekend—even though we had only met them in-person for the first time that week—they were friends, and they still are over a year later.
